Common questions
What is IAG Journal?
A trade journal built for options traders. Connect your broker and your trades, rolls and closes land in the journal on their own, with monthly P/L, a dashboard, Trade Replay and a smart watchlist.
Which brokers work with it?
AutoSync: tastytrade, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab (thinkorswim), Robinhood, Fidelity, Wealthsimple and E*TRADE. File import: Merrill Edge and Questrade. Every connection is read-only. Using another broker? Tell us.
Does my trading data leave my computer?
No. Your trades, positions and P/L live in a database on your own device, and your broker sign-in stays in your device's keychain. Our cloud only knows your email and your subscription. How to check it yourself.
What does it cost? Can I cancel?
$19.97 a month, or $199.99 a year ($16.67/mo). Every feature is included on both plans. Cancel anytime from your account page. There is no free trial.
What happens after I pay?
You land on a download page. Install the app, enter the email you paid with, and type the sign-in code we email you. Then connect your broker and your history fills in.
Which devices does it run on?
Mac, Windows and Linux today. iPhone, iPad and Android are in beta with subscribers now. One subscription covers up to three devices.
Do I need to take an IAG course?
No. The journal follows the Investing Against the Grain approach, like a fresh P/L every month, but it works for any options trader.
